BOOK TRAILER | Imposters by Scott Westerfeld

The second trailer for Scott Westerfeld’s new book, Imposters, dropped a few days ago! It’s a high quality trailer; vibrant and well-produced. It also concisely  give us the premise of the story. Our main character is a twin who is the daughter of a rich, powerful, and dangerous man. She is trained to kill, while her twin is trained to charm, but she wants more from her life than just being her sister’s protector. It’s a trailer that promises a lot of things for the book: action, intrigue, self-discovery, and I think most-importantly, the exploration of the complexities of what it means to be a sister, and that balance between selfishness and selflessness.

I still haven’t read Extras, but I’m excited to give this book a go, and dive back in to the world of the Uglies. The Uglies was my first real taste of young adult fiction, before the genre became the global phenomenon that it is today, and Scott Westerfeld is still one of my favourite authors. He has such unique ideas, also seen in his Midnighters series (great books, by the way), and creates characters that are both relatable and memorable.

Are you planning on reading this book? What did you think of the book trailer?
