On Saturday, I went to the library and picked up some books. As you may have noticed by the selection, I’m taking a sort-of-break from YA. The books are:
- Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld
- The Martian by Andy Weir
- Touch by Claire North
- Written in Red by Anne Bishop
- The Routledge Handbook of Scripts and Alphabets by George L. Campbel and Christopher Moseley
Afterworlds is still YA, but I’m planning on reading that after getting through the others on this list. I’m currently reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater and I just feel like if I read another YA book, I might explode.
Last Thursday, I also had unplanned purchases at Dymocks which I tweeted about.
“I’m just going to browse.” @Dymocksbooks #liesitellmyself I’m now sitting here in post-shopping shock. 😐 pic.twitter.com/zVMQIr2j4U

Yeah… still kind of in shock with the purchase but also happy because I’ve wanted to read these books for such a long time:

Looking forward to dig into all these goodies!
I got Ready Player One a few days ago as well. I so curious about it.

The premise definitely sounds interesting! It helps that there’s going to be a film adaptation too. 😛
