AUTHOR APPRECIATION FOR EMILY RODDA
To end, I would like to say, thank you, Emily Rodda, for my childhood. For writing characters who were diverse. For writing women whom I could look up. For writing stories that captured my imagination. For being a source of happiness in a childhood that could’ve been sad and miserable. For quite possibly being the woman who started the mad adventure that is reading. For sparking the desire to write stories of my own. I don’t think there are enough words for someone who has changed my life in that way because books are such a huge part of my life now. So, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
